why

1. Why challenges?

After having spent a few years teaching street photography and how to find that scene we always wanted to capture, I have realized that the best way to learn is to know what you are looking for. In all my videos, courses and workshops I always say a couple of phrases.

¨If you know what you are looking for, it will be much easier to find it¨.
¨Practice until it becomes an instinctive act¨.

These challenges you will see below will make you to:

be focused on one result/photography.

2. What are the challenges?

Challenge 1: Invisibility in Street Photography

You will learn to:
✓Go unnoticed, be invisible.
✓Balance your images.
✓See from afar to photograph up close.
✓Know what your shooting distance is.

Challenge 2: Slow Shutter Speed in Street Photography

You will learn to:
✓ Give prominence to what/who (isn't) moving.
✓ Be more creative with your compositions.
✓ Grab the attention of whoever is viewing your photographs.

Challenge 3: Dividing the frame in Street Photography

You will learn to:
✓Divide the frame.
✓Find different scenes in each division.

Challenge 4: Juxtaposition in Street Photography

You will learn to:
Contrast subjects/subjects.
Contrasting subjects/objects

Challenge 5: Geometry in Street Photography

You will learn to:
✓Find geometry where others see nothing.
✓To understand that every pixel in your camera counts.

Challenge 6: Looking at camera in Street Photography

You will learn to:
✓Find expressions/emotions of the photographed.
✓To achieve photographs with high visual impact.

Challenge 7: Three points of interest in Street Photography

✓Guide the viewer's eye.
✓To find three points that give interest to your photograph.

Challenge 8: Fill the frame in Street Photography

You will learn to:
✓Understand that every pixel in your frame is valid.
✓To position different subjects/objects in the frame.

Challenge 9: Self-portrait in Street Photography

You will learn to:
✓To creatively self-portrait yourself.
✓Use shadows, reflections, mirrors, hands....

Challenge 10: Variegated photography in Street Photography

You will learn to use all of the above techniques in a single photograph.

Be more creative using the above techniques

Challenge 12: Frame the Frame in Street Photography

You will learn to:
✓ Frame subjects using natural frames.

You can do the challenge that best suits you without having to follow an order, however, this order in which all the challenges are placed is not random because in each challenge, I always advise you to use previous techniques already seen in previous exercises.

A single challenge costs 59$HK and has a duration of one month
all challenges cost 499$HK and have a duration of 1 year.
